Creating Events
Where do all these Events come from?
Event organizers can sign up with Socialwalk and start creating events. It's easy and hassle-free and leaves you with extra time to focus on what's really important, like the event itself.
How do I create an event?
Firstly sign up for a Socialwalk account here. Once your account is validated, you'll be able to create accounts once you login.
What else can Socialwalk do?
Socialwalk allows you to monitor the performance of your event by providing an intelligent reporting system to tell you how much activity has occurred in your event page. You can check if a particular marketing campaign is working by monitoring daily activity summaries. Socialwalk also allows your attendees to mingle, interact and in general, create hype prior to the event. This is great for generating publicity.
Can anyone create events?
Yes! Feel free to use Socialwalk for your events. Socialwalk is especially useful for business events & conferences, but we'll be just as happy to do concerts and parties.
Why should I use Socialwalk to do registration?
Quite simply because it's convenient. We absorb the need for you to do extra work to consolidate your registration from phone, fax, and email. To check for duplication and to prevent overlapping entries.
Okay. The attendees have registered. Now who does the database belong to?
The database belongs to you, the event organizer. Socialwalk only functions as a tool for you to conduct your event registration. You can download the entire database as a CSV from your event management page.
RSVP for events using Socialwalk
How do I RSVP for events?
Visit the event page of any event created on the Socialwalk platform and you will find a bright green button with the words "RSVP for this event". Click on that button and you can register your information for an event.
I'm not sure...do I know anyone else going?
That's the best part about registering for an event using Socialwalk! You are able to see who else registered for the event. Meet potential clients, business partners, new friends. Attend a Socialwalk event today to see how it works!
What is 1-click RSVP?
Well Socialwalk helps pre-fill information about you so that you can register for events , even those with tedious registrations forms. With just a click on a mouse. Attending events has never been more fun or easy!
Ticketing
Online payment for event tickets are presently available via iPay88, a simple Internet Payment Switching Gateway which supports credit cards, and online banking from Alliance Bank, RHB Bank, Maybank2U, Hong Leong Bank, AmBank, CIMB Bank, Public Bank, Bank Islam, Mobile Money and PosPay.
Is it possible for me to obtain a refund for a ticket I purchased?
Socialwalk acts as a bridge between event organizers and event attendees. The ticket you purchased is subject to the terms and conditions of the event organizer. Please contact the event organizer for your respective event to find out more or contact us for assistance at admin@socialwalk.com
